Description
LCD screens should be fitted by professionals or people with competent knowledge and tools. If you are unsure of the correct procedure YouTube is a good source of videos.
Before proceeding to fit the display disconnect the phones battery. Current runs through the LCD connection and can cause damage to your phone if a screen is plugged in whilst the phone is on. Always test the new display before fully fitting. In the majority of situations this is simple to do by attaching the flex cable to the main board. If you do not test before fitting and later discover a fault it will be difficult to remove without damaging it.
Once you are happy the part is working then proceed to carefully fit it. If you are using liquid adhesive ensure not to get any in the display.
